For the fifth time in six years, the Czech Republic is champion of the world, winning the Fed Cup title against France (for its 10th title in history). Karolina Pliskova and Barabora Strycova won the decisive match versus Carolina Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic, 7-5, 7-5.

Naturally, the team was ecstatic with Petra Kvitova even bringing along some "friends" to her autograph session.

During the doubles match, it was clear that the Czech duo were all in from the start to finish as Pliskova made this insane partial dive hot shot.

This is the first time that a team has won three consecutive Fed Cup titles since Spain won it from 1993–95.
