American pro tennis is back.

After nearly five months without any official tournament play due to the coronavirus, the reboot of tour tennis in the United States begins with the Top Seed Open in Kentucky. Some of the best players in history will be competing in Lexington including Serena and Venus Williams, Victoria Azarenka and Sloane Stephens.

For a WTA International event, this level of competition is almost unheard of. The tournament also begins the march towards the US Open, which is still happening as scheduled in late August.
