Andy and Jamie Murray have won their first doubles title together, taking Valencia with a 7-6 (6), 5-7, (10-7) defeat of Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi in the final.

"Just got the win in doubles," wrote Andy on his Twitter account. "[S]o pumped for my big bro."

The brothers received a wildcard into the tournament, which took place a week after Andy served as best man in Jamie's wedding. After losing early in singles, Andy turned his full focus on the pairs event.

"It would be good if we could do well, especially for Jamie’s ranking,” he said after falling to Juan Monaco in the second round. “He’s 90 just now so if we can win another match, it should push his ranking up a little bit, which is good."
