Hosted at the world-renowned Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, the tournament has become one of the most beloved events on the Challenger calendar, combining high-level tennis with the unique atmosphere of Mallorca.

Since 2018, the Rafa Nadal Open has brought world-class tennis to Rafa’s hometown. Past editions have seen stars such as Andy Murray, Marin Cilic, and Carlos Alcaraz compete in Manacor before or after their major career breakthroughs. For Nadal himself, who won two Challenger titles at just 17, this tournament is personal:

“For us it is a great honor to organize this tournament at the Academy,” Nadal says. “Big players have come, and every year the atmosphere grows. Seeing the fans enjoy it and the players leave happy motivates us to continue.”

Tournament director Joan Suasi emphasizes the family spirit behind the event:

“Although this is already our seventh edition, we still have the same excitement as the first day. The 2025 Lineup

The 2025 player field promises an exciting mix of youth and experience. Leading the lineup is Otto Virtanen of Finland, followed by rising Spanish star Martin Landaluce, Britain’s Billy Harris, and Frenchman Harold Mayot. Austria’s Jurij Rodionov adds further depth to the draw, joined by Swiss Jerome Kym.
