Raonic dunks in NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

Neither South Park creators nor anyone else could "blame Canada" on Friday night, as a lineup of homegrown stars defeated a squad of Americans 74-63 in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Toronto. Milos Raonic and Eugenie Bouchard each participated and, in one case, earned even more than style points on the night. Leading up to the game, the Spin asked, can Raonic dunk? Answer: Yes, he can. And did.

Raonic is reportedly the first non-basketball player to dunk in the NBA's celeb-tastic showdown since rapper J. Cole did so in 2012. If onlookers wondered if the ATP World Tour's 6'5" star had game, they might have noticed ahead of time that he drained a long jumper in the warm-up over the head of Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler.

Butler, an American living in Montreal, played for Team Canada on the night, recording 15 points and 3 steals. That was good enough to claim top honors among those involved.

To her credit, Bouchard laced up gamely as a starter and brought down one rebound for the home team. She did little else that a box score would show, ultimately pulling in a C grade from *espnW*, which gave Raonic an A for his effort.

The evening had its candid moments, as when Raonic and the Canadian team's head coach, rapper Drake, pretended not to see each other side by side.

Bouchard previewed the event for the native CBC Sports network, also snapping a couple locker-room selfies with her colleagues and finding a way to show off her recently-buzzed, trendy haircut.

Raonic himself got in the selfie act alongside comrades including actors Stephan James and Tom Cavanagh and Property Brothers' Drew and Jonathan Scott (again, no relation). "Go, go, gadget sleeve!"

Raonic, who pulled out of the ATP's Delray Beach event due to a lingering adductor injury, took to social media after the game to campaign for a segment on ESPN's SportsCenter program.

After it was all said and done, the forever-understated Bouchard probably spoke for everyone.
