Milos Raonic describes his victory over Roger Federer in the quarterfinals of the Paris Masters as his "biggest win" yet.

"It would have to be up there definitely at this stage of my career, with the level I have gotten myself to, that's for sure," said Raonic. "And considering all the circumstances around it, I think this was the biggest win for me."

The 23-year-old had never defeated Federer, Rafael Nadal, or Novak Djokovic until this win, though he is 3-1 against Andy Murray.

The performance was given added weight by allowing Raonic to stay in contention for the ATP World Tour Finals, with his qualification confirmed later in the day. Aiming to get into the eight-player event event gave him extra impetus, he said.

"I'm very motivated. I think I have been sort of trying to find this level, fortunately I have been able to do so this week."

This will be Raonic's first appearance in the season-ending championships.
