Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner didn’t have an Indian Wells title, or a big win in 2026. Now they have both

Belinda Bencic, the 20-year-old from Switzerland, was set to start working with Maciej Synowka, the coach of Mirjana Lucic-Baroni and other WTA players, according to a report.

Bencic has been coached from childhood by Martina Hingis' mother, Melanie Molitor, with Bencic's father, Ivan, accompanying her to tournaments. However, her father was not with her at the Australian events or St. Petersburg.

Bencic also split with her longtime manager during the offseason, according to a report.

The former top-10 player is coming off an injury-interrupted season, including a persistent back problem.

She is No. 81 in the rankings.
