The Sports Business Journal (SBJ) reports that the ATP Board of Directors and CEO Adam Helfant are battling over the amount of his compensation. The ATP confirmed to TENNIS.com that negotiations have begun, but wouldn't comment of the amount of compensation. The SBJ said that Helfant, who is responsible for bringing in the ATP’s new main sponsor, Corona, is set to earn $3 million this year. It also noted that Helfant left his last job at Nike over similar issues.—Matthew Cronin
