According to a report from Bolshe! world No. 1 Jannik Sinner has hired Carlos Moya as his new head coach, effective in 2026.

Moya would replace Sinner’s current coach Darren Cahill, who plans to retire at the end of 2025.

A former world No. 1 and 1998 Roland Garros champion, Moya was a longtime coach of Rafael Nadal, working with the 22-time Grand Slam champion from 2016 through his 2024 retirement.

Sinner has worked with the coaching duo of Cahill and Simone Vagnozzi since 2022. Under Cahill and Vagnozzi, who won the 2023 ATP Award for Coach of the Year, the 23-year-old has won three Grand Slam titles and ascended to No. 1 in the ATP rankings.

Sinner returned to action last week following a three-month doping suspension at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, finishing runner-up to Carlos Alcaraz.
