After falling to Feliciano Lopez, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (2), 6-4, in the third round of Wimbledon, Andy Roddick says he hasn't improved in more than a year. Roddick was saddled with knee problems in 2010 and shoulder trouble this year. The 28-year-old former No. 1 hasn't reached a Grand Slam semifinal since 2009, at Wimbledon.
"Not this year," Roddick told reporters when asked if he has improved. "No, I haven't played well this year, for sure. I don't think I've played my best since probably April of last year. I think I can. Have I over the last year? Probably not. I've been up against some stuff. But it has to get better. There's no doubt."
