Lucie Safarova may have won Valentine's Day with her fresh and timely racquet stenciling. She's got us seeing red, in the best way:

But wait. Another Czech, Radek Stepanek, offered up an attention-grabbing slice of news just two days before this holiday, announcing on his Facebook page that he has reunited with ex-wife Nicole Vaidisova.

"Don't be surprised" if you see us together, said Stepanek, now in the twilight of his length and accomplished career. Vaidisova herself is on the comeback trail at age 26 after leaving the sport for a few years. She and Stepanek married in 2010 and divorced three years later.

Meanwhile, Petra Kvitova, herself a former love of Stepanek, celebrated V-Day with close friend Lucia Hradecka and wafted a rose given to her by the WTA tournament in Dubai.

Genie Bouchard, Samantha Crawford and Andrea Petkovic had their fun with the holiday.
