Pete Sampras says that three-time Grand Slam finalist Andy Murray needs to be more aggressive if he's going to win a major.

"It seems like Andy is pretty content rallying. If you are going to win a major, you have to make it happen," said Sampras from the tournament in San Jose, where he lost 7-6, 6-4 to Gael Monfils in an exhibition. "If you look at Novak [Djokovic] he's aggressive and pounding his forehand and Murray is a little too passive. You play guys like Djokovic and Federer in the finals, they aren't going to to miss. He can beat a lot of other guys playing a certain way and that's how he played to get there, but to win it, he needs to step on the gas a little harder and go down swinging. But he will win majors, he's a a great athlete and moves well."—Matthew Cronin
