Sanchez given final French Open women's wild card

PARIS (AP)—Olivia Sanchez of France has been given the final women’s wildcard for the French Open, organizers said Friday.

The 28-year-old Sanchez lost in qualifying at the Australian Open earlier this year, and at tournaments in Hobart, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand prior to that.

Sanchez lost in the first round at Bogota, Colombia in February.
