Nicolas Almagro has won his second title in three weeks, defeating Richard Gasquet 7-5, 6-1 in the final of Gstaad.
The Spaniard, who also won in Bastad two weeks ago, said he now has his sights on the top 10.
Gasquet, who was making his return from a back/hip injury that kept him out of Wimbledon, said he was not more competitive because of shoulder problems. "I just started serving on the Friday before the tournament because I had problems with my shoulder," said Gasquet. "It became worse last night."
