Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic will be named the new president of the Tennis Players Union of Serbia, Blic reports. The players union will include Novak Djokovic, Janko Tipsarevic, Viktor Troicki, Nenad Zimonjic and Davis Cup captain Bogdan Obradovic. The organization will be run by Srdjan Djokovic, Novak’s father.
It was Jeremic who arranged for the players to be presented with diplomatic passports during the Serbian Open earlier this month. Jeremic was also in Djokovic's friends' box during the Madrid inal when he beat Rafael Nadal The players opposed the re-election of Serbian Tennis Federation president Slobodan Zivojinovic, which is why they are said to have set up a new organization.
