Maria Sharapova says she is unconcerned about her continuing tendency to double fault as long as she can keep serving at full strength.

"I'm actually serving a lot better than I did last summer," she told reporters in Cincinnati earlier this week. "Hitting bigger serves—maybe I'm missing a few more first serves and second serves, but not hitting second serves 70 miles an hour."

Sharapova, who is having some of her best results since returning from shoulder surgery last spring, said she has always remained committed to an aggressive style. "I'm going to win tournaments by going for my shots," she said. "Whether going for my shots off the ground or playing on my game on the serve, rather than waiting for my opponents to miss and not making as many unforced errors."
