Former world No. 5 Robin Soderling says on Twitter that he will not begin practicing until January and won't attempt to play a tournament until February, taking him out of the 2012 Australian Open. The 13th-ranked Swede has been contending with a bout of mononucleosis since last summer and has not competed since July.
