PERTH, Australia (AP)—Spain won its third Hopman Cup title and Tommy Robredo and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez combined to beat Britain's Andy Murray and Laura Robson 7-6 (6), 7-5 in mixed doubles on Saturday.

The Spanish pair broke Robson's serve in the deciding game. It came after Robson won her first singles match of the week, 6-1, 7-6 (6) over Martinez Sanchez, to give Britain an early 1-0 lead.

Then Robredo won his fourth straight singles match of the tournament, handing Murray his first loss in singles, with a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory.

It was the first loss of the week for Murray and Robson in mixed doubles.
