Iga Swiatek has defeated Caroline Garcia in the semifinals of the United Cup to not only send Poland into the final of the team event, but also to keep adding onto a very impressive stat of her own.

Her 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory over the Frenchwoman was her 15th win in a row, which is now the standalone second-longest winning streak of her career, surpassing her 14-match winning streak between Roland Garros and Wimbledon last year.

Swiatek’s longest winning streak was her monster 37-match winning streak between Doha and Wimbledon in 2022, which is actually the longest WTA winning streak since 1997.

Her current run began at the end of 2023 with back-to-back titles in Beijing (6-0) and the WTA Finals (5-0) and has continued into 2024 at the United Cup (she's 4-0 at the team event so far).

SWIATEK’S LONGEST WINNING STREAKS (tour-level):
~ 37 in 2022 [Doha to Wimbledon, ended by Cornet in 3rd Rd]
~ 15 in 2023-2024 [Beijing to United Cup, still going]
~ 14 in 2023 [Roland Garros to Wimbledon, ended by Svitolina in QFs]

Swiatek hasn't just won her last 15 matches in a row, she's also won 30 of her last 32 sets.
