Stat of the Day: Holger Rune becomes first player ever to defeat Novak Djokovic from a set down in a Masters 1000 final

Not even Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal had ever done it.

With his 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory in the final of the Rolex Paris Masters on Sunday, in which he also battled back from 3-1 down in the third set, Danish teenager Holger Rune has become the first player ever to come back from a set down to defeat Novak Djokovic in the final of a Masters 1000 event.

Djokovic had been a ridiculous 30-0 in his career in Masters 1000 finals after winning the first set, which includes 4-0 against Federer, 4-0 against Nadal and 4-0 against Andy Murray.

Djokovic reached a record-extending 56th career Masters 1000 final in Paris this year. Despite the loss to Rune on Sunday, he still holds an incredible 38-18 career record in those finals (and his 38 career Masters 1000 titles are an all-time record, too).
