By winning his second straight Monte Carlo title on Sunday, defeating Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the final, 6-3, 7-6 (3), Stefanos Tsitsipas not only captured the second Masters 1000 title of his career (and eighth overall ATP title of his career), but he joined some very legendary company with his title defense.

Tsitsipas is just the fifth active player to successfully defend a Masters 1000 title, and the other four active players to achieve the feat are the most accomplished men in the sport—Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
