Kiki Bertens (WTA No. 4, UTR No.3) vs. Karolina Pliskova (WTA No. 3, UTR No. 4)

Breaks of serve will be at a premium as two of the games biggest servers face off for a spot in the Eastbourne final. Bertens leads the WTA with a whopping 283 aces and Pliskova sits right behind her at 272. The next closest is Naomi Osaka with 195.

The event champion two years ago, Pliskova stormed through her quarter the draw, dropping just eleven total games in her three matches. Bertens enters the matchup in fine form herself, winning seven of her last eight matches on grass.

Pliskova will continue to keep the points short, blasting serves and cleaning up any weak replies in the process. She has looked unstoppable this week. Bertens will need to mix up the pace and spin to try and throw Pliskova off balance and out of rhythm, much easier said than done on a grass court. She will also need to play her best defense if she is to slow down the red-hot Czech.

Although Bertens won their only grass-court encounter last year at Wimbledon, look for Pliskova to blast through the beloved Dutchwoman and punch a ticket to her third Eastbourne final.
