Heather Watson took down Canadian teenager Leylah Fernandez, 6-4, 6-7 (8), 6-1, in the final in Acapulco on Sunday. The Brit fired off six aces on her way to victory against the 17-year-old—despite a shaky second set tiebreak, in which she squandered five match points.

Watson eventually pulled off the win to earn her fourth career WTA trophy. The 27-year-old had not won a WTA title since Monterrey in 2016, though she picked up two ITF's last year.
