At the beginning of this year in Auckland, the 29-year-old showed Taylor Townsend a thing or two: One, your approach shot has to be beyond perfect. And two, don’t think that any reply she hits is going out.

During her 13-year career, Radwanska was ranked as high as No. 2 in the world and won 20 career WTA titles. She also reached the Wimbledon final in 2012. Her final event was Seoul in September where she reached the round of 16.
