Hi TWibe! More All About Me fun this week, so let’s jump right in. (If you’ve missed the past few weeks and have no idea what’s going on here, click here to catch up.)

Introducing the "real" !

Gender: Female

Hair color: Dirty blond

Eye color: Brown

Shoe size: 8 1\2 U.S.

Siblings: 4

Last album you listened to: Glenn Gould’s Johann Sebastian Bach: The Well-Tempered Clavier Book 1

Last film you saw: Return to Cranford (cheesy, not as good as the original)

Crushes: Byron Sully from Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman; Rafa; Faramir from Lord of the Rings; last but not least, Fernando Verdasco.

Favorite musician: Unfair question but here goes—Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Glenn Gould, Freddy Kempf, Elvis Presley, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, John Coltrane, Elton John, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, Straight No Chaser, and Casting Crowns.

Favorite Book: I refuse to answer that question. It takes too long to list them! I’ll do authors, though: Homer, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, George Orwell, Charles Dickens, and Jane Austen. (I have a love affair with British literature.) **

Favorite film: What a Wonderful Life closely followed by all three Lord of the Rings, BBC 1995 Pride and Prejudice, Cranford, The Young Victoria,Silverado, The Patriot, and Gone with the Wind.

Favorite Actor: Colin Firth.

Favorite TV show: Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Favorite sport: Any equestrian competition, closely followed by tennis, baseball, and hockey.

Love at first sight: Totally can happen.

Death: Nothing to fear, simply the next step in our journey.

Worst fear: Being lonely.

Best feeling in the world: Walking outside early in the morning on a bright spring day with a breeze and just standing there, being thankful that we live in such a beautiful world.

Worst feeling in the world: Watching someone you love endure pain, and not being able to do anything about it.

School: Don’t even get me started.

Do you believe in heaven and hell?: Yes.

Do you believe in aliens: Umm . . . no.

What do you do to make your friends mad: Say something completely thoughtless and stupid (I’m good at that), or just wear them out with my endless energy.

Love or Lust: “All you need is love . . . “

Most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done: Getting lost for a whole hour. In my hometown. Going somewhere I’ve been many times before. In my defense, I’d never gone the route I went that day before. Discovered three Starbucks though!

Favorite love song: Schubert's Schwanengesang.

What are you thinking at this very moment?: Going to find a recording of the Schwanengesang to listen to while I do this.

What do you like to do on the weekend: Spend time outdoors, train horses, hang out with friends, watch tennis!

Favorite food: Dark chocolate.

Favorite kinds of clothes: Jeans, a t-shirt, and cowboy boots. I am not a shopper.

Have you ever cried in public: I honestly can’t remember. I think so, have definitely cried in movies before, if that counts.

Personal quote: “Make life happen, don’t let it happen to you.”

If you could change one thing that happened in your life, what would it be: I really don’t think I would change anything. Not because my life’s been perfect, or I always made the right decision, but because the “bad experiences” have taught me so much about love, wisdom, and life in general.

First time posting on TW: Late spring of ’07 I think. I got into a fight with a Fed KAD over whether Rafa or Fed should be the favorite for Wimby. Luckily, I think we made up! :)

Favorite TW Moment: have to go with that “Austen Hour” we had a couple weeks ago. Tennis, tax jokes, and Jane Austen . . . what could be better?

Most defining tennis watching moment: Sampras’s retirement ceremony. It was the first time in my life I’d ever seen anything tennis related, and I vividly remember it. Needless to say, I’ve been hooked on tennis ever since!

Let the guessing game begin! Many thanks to this week’s mystery TWiber for participating, and if you’re interested in taking the quiz yourself, e-mail me here or leave me a note in the comments.

Remember that this is your off-topic space, so feel free to chat about whatever you please here (NBA playoffs? Mother’s Day plans?). Have a wonderful weekend, TWibe!
