Evening, TWibe. Enjoying the Open so far? I'm heading to New York in a few hours, so I won't be around much tonight - and you'll be otherwise engaged with the evening session action, anyway - so I'm keeping this short and sweet.

As I mentioned last week, our U.S. Open TW gathering will be taking place this weekend. TWibers attending the Open, make sure you stop by and say hi! I'll be there, as will Pete. Here are the details again:

When: Sunday, 9/5. Start time is 9 PM, but night session ticketholders, feel free to come later in the evening.
Where:Dublin House. Address: 225 W. 79th St., between Amsterdam and Broadway. Space has already been reserved (thanks to everyone who RSVP-ed!) They don't serve food but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, and you can have food delivered or even bring your own. Don't worry about missing the tennis as they have flat-screen TVs. Click here for more info.

Even though I've already given the bar a head count, feel free to drop me a line if you plan on coming so I can keep an eye out for you. Contact me via e-mail (rasslinpriestess@hotmail.com), on Facebook, or on Twitter (@JackieRoe). I can't wait to see everyone!

As the first week of the U.S. Open draws to a close, let's do our usual and comment on fashion, favorite matches, biggest upsets, shocking moments ... anything that made an impression on you. My quick week one round-up: Azarenka collapse - terrifying, Berdych loss - stunning, Roddick rant - embarrassing, Djokovic interviews with Brad Gilbert - hysterical (being "in the shade" now takes on a completely new meaning).

As for fashion, I've only been able to watch the night session matches because of work, so I can't comment on very many outfits. Carson Kressley seems to have gotten a better look, and you can see what he has to say here.

To be honest, I don't know that I agree with him on all accounts, and I'd like to think that all my taste isn't in my mouth. But you be the judge. Here are a few of my observations ...

Airport-bound now. Enjoy the tennis this weekend, everyone. And those of you attending the Open, I'll see you soon!
