Venus Williams and Tomas Berdych are turning heads in this year's Body Issue from ESPN The Magazine, and you can see why above. Each talks about his or her respective physique at length, as well as the obvious matters forever at hand for them, those being Sjogren's syndrome (Venus) and social media (Berdych).
And talk about coaching from the stands; here's Venus on her one-time (one-match) inspiration: "Earlier in my career I could never beat this player, Jana Novotna. I remember playing her and someone in the audience yelled, 'Hit it to her forehand!!!' And so I hit it to her forehand, and what do you know, she collapsed. I thank that fan, whoever that was."
Meanwhile, of his "fitness guy," Berdych has this: "He says because of my legs and upper body, I'm two people in one. But being heavier down low, rather than up top, is what has been working in my case. The ideal plan would be skinnier and lighter legs and a little bit more on the upper body. But it's not something where you go into a store and say, 'I want that.'"

Look for these two, and more stars of sport, to be featured in ESPN's Body Issue that arrives on newsstands on July 11, with the full roster of naked athletes to be released June 25. A number of tennis stars have appeared in that notorious issue's pages over the past few years, including Serena Williams, John Isner, Agnieszka Radwanska, Daniela Hantuchova, and Vera Zvonareva.
What do you think of Berdych and Venus disrobing in glossy fashion?
