Top 30 bound! Christopher Eubanks to make another ranking breakthrough after Atlanta

Christopher Eubanks has been making headlines around the world with his rapid rise up the ATP rankings this year, and he’s now set to make yet another breakthrough.

By reaching the quarterfinals of his home event in Atlanta this week—and with results from other ATP events on Friday—the American is projected to break into the Top 30 for the first time when the new ATP rankings are released this coming Monday.

According to the ATP’s official live rankings, Eubanks will rise from his current ranking of No. 32 to No. 29 or No. 30 even if he were to fall in the quarterfinals in Atlanta tonight. He could go as high as No. 22 if he were to go all the way to the ATP 250 title.

It’s the latest milestone in an absolute breakthrough last four months for Eubanks, who only just broke into the Top 100 for the first time at the beginning of April after reaching the first Masters 1000 quarterfinal of his career as a qualifier in Miami.

Eubanks will face No. 82-ranked Australian Aleksandar Vukic in the quarterfinals of Atlanta tonight.
