After two failed attempts, Gasquet will finally feature in the championship match after surviving a sudden-death battle against Taylor Fritz.

Taylor Fritz had trouble adjusting to the innovative format but he did manage to take two quarters off Gasquet before falling in the sudden-death battle.

“I’m struggling too much while I’m thinking about these cards too much,” Fritz told Paul.

Having seen his two-quarter lead evaporate, Gasquet used his experience to topple Fritz and punch his ticket to the championship match.
