Andy Murray is back on the practice courts and has indicated he plans to start as scheduled at Wimbledon.

The defending champion will be first up on Centre Court on Monday.

"The session was good,” he told reporters following his second practice of the day at Wimbledon. “I’m okay.”

The questions around Murray's fitness increased when he withdrew from two scheduled exhibitions this week because of a hip injury. But the 30-year-old resumed practicing on Friday, training three times at the All England Club. It was his first appearance on the practice courts there since Tuesday.

He still appears to be experiencing some problems, though the world No. 1 is known for performing well on court while affected by injuries.

Murray plays Alexander Bublik in the first round.
