PARIS (AP)—Jo-Wilfried Tsonga could miss the grass-court season after injuring his right hip during the French Open.

Tsonga underwent scans that confirmed a muscle lesion in his hip and his agent said Monday that the former Australian Open runner-up will rest “for about 10 days.”

The Frenchman will then undergo another checkup to “determine whether he can resume playing.”

Tsonga retired from his fourth-round match against Mikhail Youzhny on Sunday at the French Open.

Wimbledon starts on June 21.
