France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga ran his record to 7-0 in Davis Cup by scoring a 6-3, 6-2, 6-7(2), 6-3 win over Germany’s Benjamin Becker in Toulon.

Gael Monfils opened play by besting Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-1, 6-4, 7-6(5). France heads into the doubles with a 2-0 lead “We put a lot of pressure on the German side, “ said Monfils, who scored his first Davis Cup win.
