After each round of play at Roland Garros, we'll run the numbers with UTR to get a better sense of who is most likely to win the title and to reach some of the tournament's deeper rounds.

Not has much changed on the men's side after the second round. The tier one favorites—Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Dominic Thiem—all won convincingly. Djokovic ceded five total games to Ricardas Berankis, while Nadal coughed up just four to Mackenzie McDonald. It's almost difficult to wrap your head around it; McDonald and Berankis are no slouches. They've each won millions in prize money due to their unique ability to strike a tennis ball, yet each game won against Djokovic and Nadal felt like grounds for celebration.

Unlike the men, the women's favorites shuffled like a deck of cards. After losing four pre-tournament favorites—Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka, Karolina Pliskova and Elena Rybakina—the field couldn't be more wide open. In fact, it's so up for grabs that a recently unretired Tsvetana Pironkova, who has played just six match in three years, is now the second favorite behind Simona Halep.

The Bulgarian has a small sample size, but in her six matches back on tour she's played wonderfully. In New York, she defeated Donna Vekic and Garbine Muguruza in straight sets, and she pushed Serena to the brink in the quarterfinal. For any sports bettors out there, a $25 bet on Pironkova to win the title would win you $875.

After the slew of upsets in the second round, Maria Sakkari, Sofia Kenin and Petra Martic round out the bottom eight. While Fiona Ferro and Jelena Ostapenko didn't quite make the eight-player cut, they are certainly names to watch out for moving forward.
