Mornin'. It's official. I now declare TennisWorld an asylum run by the inmates; it's been like this ever since the start of the Australian Open, when y'all started transforming this blog into General HQ for all things pertaining to The Grand Slam of Asia/Pacific, or, as it's known all round the world,  TGSAP! Now stop slamming those tin cups against the bars for a moment and listen up.

I'm interested to know how you think I should cover Week 2 of the AO, although you can't hold me to each and every - or perhaps any - suggestion. That's partly because there are bound to be practical issues that I can't expect you to anticipate at play. But - given the television coverage and time-zone issues, we can definitely contemplate doing some creative things.  I could do a "live" match call, updating a post at every changeover, on a match that is either not televised or in progress before broadcasts begin. That is, I would be your eyes and ears in real time. We could also watch a match "together",  me live, you before the television or computer.

Also, being a rabble-rouser and seditionist, I may be able to provide press-conference material well before it appears on the official website, even though it may get the noses of some of my puffy-chested and self-important colleagues out of joint.  Is that kind of thing important to you?  In fact, one thing I want to do is ask some questions on your behalf in various press conferences. This can be tricky, of course, because of limited access and the way things tend to flow in those media ops, but I'll do my best (no questions about Jet Boy's knees, please!).

So think about it, and post any thoughts/request you have here at this thread. Also, feel free to shift the general discussion over here as the string in the previous post lengthens. I'll be back to you with another post later in the day.

Go, Tribe!
