Now to the business at hand. The fabulous Mariya over at *Talk About Tennis* shot me an email saying we're all set to go with a subset of the Suicide Pool strictly for members of the Tribe. But you will need to identify yourself as part of the TW Tribe, so you must put TW next to your first days picks, and if you post under a different name at TAT, or if your TW screen name is already taken at TAT when you register, make sure you put your TW name in parenthesis as well when you make your picks and identify yourself as a TW member, so we can track who you are individually.
You can read all the rules of the game here, and some special rules pertaining to the Sunday start at this link.
Here's a little background and further info for playahs from TW:
1) The game's free and one can enter until start of play on Monday, May 28.
2) In order to participate in the TW contest, one must put "TW" and your screen name in parenthesis (if that screen name is different from the one you use at TAT) next to the first day picks. That will not only identify you as part of the TW subset, but also identify you individually for those of us who do not know you by your TAT screen name (if you're new to TAT, you may not be able to use your TW screen name there; it might be taken).
3) The TW results will be published daily at TW (except Sunday, May 27th, since we are allowing the First Day pick to be Sunday OR Monday).
4) There are prizes, both for the general contest and for the TW one.
Got that, everyone? Many thanks to TAT for hosting and offering the prizes; I will try to come up with one for the TW winner as well. And remember you are not just representing your goofball, forehead-smacking, "Duh!" self in this exercise, but TW. The entire Tribe. We are counting on you to represent this website, and particularly me (someone named Sanja has forbidden me to play, wonder what's up with that?), with courage, honor and distinction. And in keeping with TW's Code of Honor, you are not allowed to register multiple times and have six identities in the game. You've got a gun with one bullet. You are playing with a standard-sized, wooden racquet. I am expecting you to fly close to the sun on inflammable wings.
But no pressure or anything.
Anything to add, Mariya?
