MELBOURNE, Australia(AP) U.S. Open runner-up Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark has advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open.
The fourth-seeded Wozniacki, who lost to Kim Clijsters in last year's U.S. Open final, beat Shahar Peer of Israel 6-4, 6-0 at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday night.
Wozniacki will face Li Na of China in the fourth round. Li equaled her best run at Melbourne Park when she advanced 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 over 2008 semifinalist Daniela Hantuchova earlier Saturday.
