After being told that she was out of shape, U.S. teenager CoCo Vandeweghe now has a full-time trainer, Chuck Williams, traveling with her. Williams has worked with NBA players before and was recommended to her by her uncle Kiki, a former NBA All-Star.

Vandeweghe said she’s dropped 10 pounds.

"A lot of people were telling me I was out of shape and that was tough for me because I’m a young girl and I was working so hard on and off the court,” said Vandeweghe, who beat Edina Gallovits 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round of Indian Wells. "When you are putting in four hours on court and then more off court and not getting results it makes you crazy in the mind. But it wasn’t a constant regimen I was getting and I needed it, especially at the tournaments. I wasn’t eating right and now I have a different workout plan. I’m feeling pretty quick and am staying in rallies longer."—Matthew Cronin
