WATCH: Murray's lob winner on Davis Cup championship point

'Tis good to be humbled. Your Spin keeper thought just two short days ago that Andy Murray had served up the full range of darts in his quiver on one particular point in the 2015 Davis Cup final. But just how wrong was I? Just check out Murray again, this time in the final's last match, as he plays out this 20-stroke example of genius:

That serve return, hard and deep up the middle. The curvaceous backhand, short and spinning out cross court. A forehand dig on a down-the-line coulda-woulda-shoulda been a winner against anyone else. The breezy one-fisted backhand. Those few shots struck as the ball is seemingly five to seven feet away from him. All that defense against David Goffin's forehand missiles.

And finally, a gorgeous backhand lob that breaks the back of a country seeking its first-ever Davis Cup title.

That is Andy Murray in a nutshell: carving out shots that others wouldn't have the guile to attempt, and carving out team dreams as a final punctuation mark on the year in tennis.
