Stanislas Wawrinka has hired Sweden’s Magnus Norman to coach him on a trial basis. The 17th-ranked Swiss has been searching for a coach for the past couple of months. Former Roland Garros finalist Norman runs to the Good to Great Tennis Academy. One of his assistant coaches, Mikael Tillstrom, coaches Grigor Dimitrov. Norman previously coached former French Open finalist Robin Soderling.

“I have been eager to work with Magnus for many years now and I’m very excited to finally have that opportunity," Wawrinka said in a statement. “We will explore our relationship through this test period and I have no doubt it will bear fruit with hard work and dedication. I am excited to learn from his experiences.”
