Stan Wawrinka will work with Richard Krajicek during the grass-court season, the 31-year-old has announced.

"As I’m always looking to improve on court, I would like to take this opportunity to announce as of immediately that I have added Richard Krajicek to my existing coaching staff to help during the grass court season for the next 4 weeks," Wawrinka wrote on Facebook.

Wawrinka, who will continue working with coach Magnus Norman, said he and his team are "really excited" about the addition of Krajicek.

"Adding a former Wimbledon Champion can only further my knowledge and understanding of the grass,” the world No. 5 added. “It’s a real privilege and honour to add such a champion to my corner."

Wawrinka is not the only player to bring a former Wimbledon champion on board as the grass-court season heats up. John McEnroe will be advising Milos Raonic during the Championships.
