PARIS (AP) Viktor Troicki couldn't believe his eyes.
The Serb was about to smash a winner when a wayward ball boy ran onto the court, adding even more drama to Troicki's five-set loss to Andy Murray on Tuesday at the French Open.
It happened at the start of the sixth game of the fifth set, and the point, won by Troicki, had to be replayed.
Troicki crouched on the court incredulously and stared at the ball boy while the crowd started to cheer him and whistle the chair umpire.
After losing the next point, Troicki gestured angrily at the ball boy. He later encouraged the young man to return on the court after Murray went ahead 40-30.
Troicki eventually won the game but lost the match 4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 7-5.
