I have lots of miscellaneous items to address today. First of all, I'd like to thank a few people who have really stepped up to help with TennisWorld's efforts to acknowledge and advance good causes.  I learned from Martin Blackman, Director of Tennis for the Junior Tennis Champions Center at College Park, Md., that regular Comment poster Ruth (don't you go sayin nothin bad bout my Serena!) has made a contribution to the JTCC. As it turns out, Martin Blackman's mom may have been one of Ruthie's teachers at Queens College in Barbados, back in day day - Ruth, you were class of 2003, right, chica?  ;-)

Also, I exchanged emails with Bob and Mike Bryan's dad Wayne today. I asked if the boys wanted to write a post for you all, and I also told him about our Iraq project, and the equipment the Iraqi Tennis Federation needs. Wayne's reply was too good - and too typical - not to post, at least in part, although he said the Bryans want no public acknowledgment of this. I love yanking Wayne's chain, so here goes:
