BRUSSELS(AP) U.S. Open semifinalist Yanina Wickmayer will be questioned by a local anti-doping committee for allegedly failing to report her whereabouts to anti-doping investigators three times over the past 18 months, her spokesman said Thursday.

``Yanina will indeed have to appear. It is all based on a misunderstanding,'' Wickmayer spokesman Rudi Kuyl said in a telephone interview.

``She did not miss a doping control,'' Kuyl said, but he conceded Wickmayer may not have fulfilled all the requirements of the World Anti-Doping Agency's requirement that she let them know her whereabouts at all times for out of competition testing.

Kuyl said she will be questioned on Oct 22.
