Wimbledon singles winners to receive $1.8 million

LONDON (AP) Wimbledon organizers have announced that the singles champions at the 2011 tournament will each receive $1.8 million, an increase of 10 percent from last year.

The total prize fund in 2011 is $23.8 million, an increase of 6.4 percent from 2010.
