Wozniacki says injured ankle should heal soon

In her blog for TV2, Caroline Wozniacki said that the ankle injury she sustained in the Family Circle Cup semifinals against Vera Zvonareva isn’t that serious.

An MRI showed that she had stretched some ligaments and has a bone bruise.

“The doctor said that I might be ready soon,” she wrote. “I just need to make sure the right treatment.” The world No. 2 is scheduled to receive treatment in Barcelona.—M.C.
