Good morning. As usual, please use this space for discussing today's tennis. I have to admit that it's been difficult to work up much interest in this week's events, but some TV coverage returns today, and I plan to watch the semifinals from Newport later, to get the year's final fix of live grasscourt action. Vince Spadea faces Fabrice Santoro, and Prakash Amritraj takes on Frank Dancevic and his hair - surely MrsSanta will be watching?

While two WTA tournaments continue, in Palermo and Budapest (where Alize Cornet is still a contender), in Bastad, David Ferrer plays Tommy Robredo, and Tomas Berdych and Fernando Verdasco are the other two semifinalists. In Gstaad, Stanislas Wawrinka plays Victor Hanescu, and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez faces Igor Andreev. Meanwhile, in the Stuttgart semis, Richard Gasquet plays Agustin Calleri, and two other Argentines, Eduardo Schwank and Juan Martin Del Potro, will face off. Del Potro has yet to reach the final of an ATP event (this is his second career semifinal), while this is already Schwank's best week at an ATP event - he's mostly been playing Challengers, but achieved some recognition while winning two rounds at Roland Garros this year, including a first-round defeat of Carlos Moya.

I'm continuing to work on my remaining Wimbledon web galleries - I hope to have these ready to link to in tomorrow's "Your Call".

Note: As always, "Your Call" is the daily thread specifically for the purpose of getting together on the cyber-sofa to discuss or call ongoing matches, or hot tennis topics of the day; It's the"Crisis Center" thread for those weeks when there are no Grand Slams, Masters, or Fed or Davis Cup in progress. You can go off-topic here if you like as well. This makes it easier for you to stay on-topic at "premium" posts. For going off-topic, you also have Monday Net Posts and Deuce Club on a regular basis.
