World No. 3 Vera Zvonareva breaks nine strings and briefly played with her coach's racket in a 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3) loss to Samantha Stosur in Stuttgart on Thursday. Stosur will face Julia Goerges, who bested fellow German Sabine Lisicki, 6-4, 6-4. "It is the best match I have had all year," said Stosur, who has been in a season long slump.
