Controversial Call

Just when you thought the tension could not be any higher, on match point the chair umpire overruled a call that would have given Krejcikova the match. The controversial call didn't phase her, she continued to fight and won the same game to ultimately win the bout.

Barbora Krejcikova

Last fall, Krejcikova was outside the Top 100, now she will compete for the Roland Garros title on Saturday. The Czech saved a match point to beat Maria Sakkari, 7-5, 4-6, 9-7, to advance to her first major final.

Desirae Krawczyk and Joe Salisbury

The pair rallied from a set down to beat Elena Vesnina and Aslan Karatsev 2-6, 6-4, 10-5. This marks the former college standout Krawczyk's first Grand Slam victory.

Nicolas Mahut and Pierre Hugues Herbert

After coming back from a set down and saving three match points, the French duo posted 6-7 (2), 7-6 (2), 6-4 score to defeat Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah. The 2018 Roland Garros champs are back in the final.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova

With a 7-5, 6-3 win over Tamara Zidansek, she became the first woman to play more than 50 majors before reaching her first Grand Slam final.
