"Like family." That's how runaway world No. 1 Serena Williams recently described rapper Drake. Turns out, though, that she seems to be game for such intimate status. This off-court mixed doubles tandem was spotted at downtown Cincinnati's tony Italian restaurant, Sotto, after she captured the Western & Southern Open title. espnW has a solid recap of Drake's recent goings-on with the Williams camp, which shouldn't really surprise anyone who knows how Serena rolls.

Drake, nee Aubrey Graham, was one of a few familiar faces in the crowd as Serena marched to her second Cincy title on Sunday. Indeed, he was even perched behind Serena's coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou.

TMZ, MTV, and others—those entities and more are reporting on the latest tale (with photos). It simply proves that there's no one who raises the profile of tennis and generates mass media coverage of all its trappings than Serena. It must be said that, at this point, she flat-out runs the game.
