The former No. 1 junior won both the singles and doubles events at the Australian Open juniors in January 2013 and, later on, won the singles event at the 2013 US Open. She kicked off 2014 with a wild card entry into the 2014 ASB Classic in Auckland, which marked her WTA debut. She upset top seed and No. 14 Vinci in the first round. Although she lost in the first round of the Australian Open and did not qualify for Roland Garros, she beat Marina Erakovic in the first round of Wimbledon before defeating former No. 12 Yanina Wickmayer in the second. At the 2014 Istanbul Cup she took down top-50 players Rybarikova and Svitolina. After a string of losses, including a first round loss at the Australian Open, Konjuh qualified for the main draw of the 2015 Prague Open where she defeated No. 34 Bencic in the first round.
